Lake Erie Fishing

Right before Easter we had a day deticated to fishing :) I had just finished a night shift at work at 5:30am but that didn't stop me, I just powered through and went right out fishing. I lasted till about 9am then I took a little 2 hour nap in the front sleeping area of the boat

This is peters dad's boat. We were fishing on lake erie right off the boat launch near the Palmwood



This wasn't peters first catch of the day, but it was the first fish that I watched him get after my little nap, so this must be around 11am. It was brutallllyyyyy cold out there. I think the temperature when we left in the morning was like 4 so once we got out on the water with nothing blocking the wind it was pretty chilly, that's why we'er all bundled up so much!

This is just 1 of our 4 buckets o' fish! The one guy that came with us named Paul Earl says that "the fish are just chewing some hubba bubba" YUCK gross

My dad also came along fishing this day so these are a few of our fishy catches. He was pretty exited with the mass amount of little perch we ended up catching, it was a great day.



There were lotsss of boats in the water this day, of course we were catching the most fish :) but there were also some tiny waves so the boats did get a little close at some points! The one boat that was on the other side of us was not fairing so well and sometimes you could here them comment of our boat, "look, even the GIRL! is catching fish!"

Our end result was a pretty damn good for 3 and half hours of fishing! It took the guys 4 hours to fillet all the perch and in the end they weighed only the fillets and it was 40 pounds of edible fish!

SURPRISE ALYSSA!

For Alyssa's 20th Birthday (April Fools) the girls and I had a surprise gettogether. Alyssa had class from 2-5pm so that gave us plenty of time to prepare our decorations and food.

Soooooooooo 5pm comes and we see Alyssa's bus at the end of the road butttttt, NO ALYSSA.....so we wait

and wait and wait and wait, we end up calling her at 5:30pm to find out she is still at school with her friends hanging out and we have to trick her into coming home saying we want to go to the mall for food and shopping, Jenessa ends up going to pick her up from the school

Once we finally got her home and she was most definitly surprised we were able to sit down and enjoy our dinner and gifts and desserts. Alyssa was very happy :)



As a present we got Alyssa some chocolate covered almonds (even though she gave up chocolate for lent, woops! lol) and a gift certificate for her to go get fake nails done at a salon in the mall - very Alyssa

To end off out night we made our own home made marble slab! YUMMMMM we were stufffeddd ugh

BECKYS 22nd BIRTHDAY

Last weekend we celebrated Beckys 22nd Birthday. We met at her boyfriend, Bradens house to drink and relax before we went out the bar Stellas for the night. Its been a long time since I've been to someones house for like predrinking and drinking games and socializing and such so it was super fun and i missed it alot since usually now we just all meet at the bar or its only a few of us sometimes. This was great cause there was like a dozen people, we all had some drinks, played beer pong (which i still suck at :( ) braden had decoarted his basement so cute and nice and even made a delcious cake for becky (even though i gave up chocolate AND cake for lent, i feel this was a reasonable exception. eeeek!) There are a few photos below to document our night.

If Becky ever finds out that this photo is on here, she will probably murderrrr me! but i simply HADDD to put t up because it captured the in moment air view of the ball about to enter one of the cups. Becky very devasted and Nikky not seeming to care, hahah

At the bar Stellas. After dating Peter for 2 and half years this is the first time we have ever pre-drank somewhere and then gone out to a bar/club together when we have both been drinking. accomplishment! it was a great success and we had a blast and no drama :)

Aroudn 1:30am we left bar however my roomate Alyssa was at another bar down the road so we attempted to go there and find her so that we could all share a taxi home. But once we arrived at her bar there were fire trucks everywhere as it seemed there was a fire in the Red Hot Chili Pepper (not actually though) anyhow there were a million people outside on the street, taking pictures with the fire fighters and we tried screaming xiAlyssas name to grab her attention, but none of this work so we eventually just grabbed a Taxi and headed home!



The morning after Peter and Tedd get some quality time before we head out for some subway and a biking adventure for that day. : )
